steve-st-john.jpgSteve started out as a Mobile Disc Jockey for fun his first job in a local public house covering for a friend one night only, this turned into a year working two nights a week. Most of his Disco work was private functions in local venues as a London DJ not forgetting parties for friends and relatives, he was offered a berth on Radio Caroline the pirate broadcasting ship turned it down to audition at the Bon-Bonnie Soul Night Club on the out skirts of Brixton he was successful and stayed five years also working at La Val Bon and the Whisky a Go Go Club two of the top London Discos.

Over the years Steve built up an excellent reputation as a Club and Party Disco DJ playing good music for his clients Weddings, Birthday Parties, Retirement and Corporate Events he was in such demand that he started to turn away functions it was at this time 1988 he formed DJ Associates Entertainments only working with the best London DJs. He joined the Wedding Guild Bexleyheath in Kent a group of fellow professionals selling other types of services to the Wedding industry staying with them for three years leaving to spend more time getting into the corporate side of entertainment.

Having a lot of success working for well known companies in the City of London in the Livery Halls and Top Hotels on a regular basis, the Corporate Disco side of DJ Associates Entertainments has been so successful the company has merged with Toffs-Mobile-Discotheques [UK] Ltd, this gives our clients a bigger choice of professional Entertainers while keeping our prices competitive with other entertainment-companies.

Steve also got a taste for alternative music for instance he does a Burns-Night every year a St Patricks-Night and has a selecton of Bangrah, Greek, Turkish, Latin, Salsa, Spanish, South-American, Soca, Reggie, Lovers-Rock in fact if you have any other requirements just give him a call and ask.
